										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>From Clonakilty in Co Cork, Tadhg Healy operates a large broiler unit which he set up and expanded. He supplies chickens to a local processor. He also contract rears dairy heifers for a local dairy farmer and grows some forestry. He has been Chairman of his local branch of the Irish Farmers Association, a member of the National Poultry Committee, Farm Business Committee and Forestry Committee of IFA. He served on the Board of Lisavaird Co-op and the board of management of the local national school. He has also served as President / Chairman of Clonakilty Agricultural Show Society.</p>
<p>His study topic was ‘<strong>Anaerobic Digestion in Rural Ireland</strong>’. He travelled to Austria, UK, Germany and Denmark in pursuit of his topic.<br />
