										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Amii McKeever is the Editor of Irish Country Living, the weekly magazine in the Irish Farmers Journal.</p>
<p>She served as President of the Agricultural Science Association (ASA) in 2018/2019, which is the representative body for Agricultural Science graduates. Before joining the Irish Farmers Journal, Amii worked in Glanbia in the corporate communications team and in the Irish Farmers’ Association as the executive with responsibility for the intensive livestock sectors.  She graduated from UCD with a BAgrSc in 2003, a Masters in Animal Science in 2005 and a diploma in Strategic Growth from Smurfit Business School in 2013.</p>
<p>She served as a board member of Nuffield Ireland until 2020 where she headed up the communications and events portfolio. She is also a member of Ceres, the Women in Agri-Business Leadership Network and chairing the IFA diversity Committee which seeks to encourage increased diversity in the organisation.</p>
<p>Amii studied the Impact of vertical Integration in the Supply Chain on her Nuffield Scholarship travels and her report was entitled &#8216;Dominance, Competition and Consumer Demand &#8211; The Impact on Meat Protein Producers&#8217;</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Shane Fitzgerald comes from a small village called Ballynoe, located in East Cork</p>
<p>Shane and his wife Fiona have three three kids, 4 year old twin boys Adam and Cillian and 10 month old Darragh.  Shane runs a  grass based dairy operation and is currently milking  280 cows. Shane owns 62 hectares and is currently renting 116 hectare. Shane also rears 200 replacements and his herd is a cross breed herd.</p>
<p>Since quotas were abolished Shane has increased from 170 cows and plans to milk 320 cows next year in partnership with his uncle John.</p>
<p>Shane is a member of discussion groups both locally and internationally (European dairy farmers) and is also a member of council on his co-op Glanbia. </p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>David Murphy is a dairy farmer in Tallow, County Waterford, David was awarded a Nuffield scholarship in 2011, he graduated with a diploma in Food Business and Corporate Governance in 2010 and recently completed a Certificate in Business Strategy (Farming) from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School. David is also very involved in Glanbia Co-operative Representative structure and has previously  currently served as Chairman of  the Castlelyons Regional Advisory Committee representing co-op shareholders and suppliers in the Southern region of Glanbia.</p>
<p>David is currently serving on the Nuffield Ireland Board with special responsibility for Scholar Recruitment.</p>
