Amii McKeever
Amii McKeever is the Editor of Irish Country Living, the weekly magazine in the Irish Farmers Journal.
She served as President of the Agricultural Science Association (ASA) in 2018/2019, which is the representative body for Agricultural Science graduates. Before joining the Irish Farmers Journal, Amii worked in Glanbia in the corporate communications team and in the Irish Farmers’ Association as the executive with responsibility for the intensive livestock sectors. She graduated from UCD with a BAgrSc in 2003, a Masters in Animal Science in 2005 and a diploma in Strategic Growth from Smurfit Business School in 2013.
She served as a board member of Nuffield Ireland until 2020 where she headed up the communications and events portfolio. She is also a member of Ceres, the Women in Agri-Business Leadership Network and chairing the IFA diversity Committee which seeks to encourage increased diversity in the organisation.
Amii studied the Impact of vertical Integration in the Supply Chain on her Nuffield Scholarship travels and her report was entitled ‘Dominance, Competition and Consumer Demand – The Impact on Meat Protein Producers’
