John Fagan

John runs a sheep and beef farm, with the main focus on sheep near Mullingar in Co Westmeath. He graduated from UCD with a degree in Agri-business and Business Development. He has served on the Council of the Irish Grassland Society. His farm was the location for the filming of the RTE TV programme ‘Big Week on the Farm’. John is also a columnist with the Irish Farming Independent.

His study topic was about Beef Production in South America and was titled ‘South America – A Time Bomb Waiting to Explode’, and he travelled to France, Brazil, Uruguay, Chile and Argentina in researching his topic’.
