About the Nuffield Triennial
Our all-Ireland Triennial tour will journey from North to South, providing an immersive experience into the heart of Irish agriculture and culture. The Triennial event offers multiple tours focused on key agricultural production systems, cultural tours, and an Agribusiness Summit Day with speakers from home and abroad. With over 50 farm visits, industry engagements, and cultural experiences planned, the Triennial provides an exceptional platform for knowledge exchange and networking among global agri-food leaders, innovators, policymakers, and business leaders. Attendees will include influential farmers and industry figures from sectors such as agribusiness, research, policy, sustainability, and technology.
The Triennial also offers a chance for Nuffield alumni to connect and reconnect with friends old and new, fostering meaningful relationships that extend well beyond this event. The itinerary includes an opening reception, a dedicated Agribusiness Summit showcasing the sector’s latest innovations, and a gala dinner. Social occasions, along with diverse agricultural and cultural tours, ensure attendees can savour the best of what the Emerald Isle has to offer.
Since its inception in 1983 in Victoria, Australia, the Triennial has provided unparalleled opportunities for learning and connection. Ireland last hosted in 2008, and, most recently, over 240 alumni from 15 countries attended the New Zealand Triennial in 2023. To get a feel for the experience, we invite you to view this video highlighting the New Zealand event in 2023.
We look forward to sharing this memorable experience with you.
